The "Club" Atmosphere: The program uses a fun outdoor adventure theme where kids earn pins and patches for completing memory verses, workbook activities, and showing good behavior.
The Weekly Structure: A typical meeting combines a fast-paced large group lesson, action-packed gym games, and small group time where kids discuss the lesson and review their workbooks.

Adventure Club meets on Wednesdays during the school year from 6:00 to 7:30 PM, beginning September 9.

Adventure Club meets at First Baptist Church Wheeling.
What ages can attend Adventure Club?
Adventure club is for children age 3 through 11 years old.
What will my child do each week?
Children will hear a Bible lesson, work on memorizing Scripture, participate in music, games, small group time, and other fun activities.
Does my family need to attend FBC Wheeling for my child to come?
No. Adventure Club is open to families from the community. We would love to welcome your child whether you attend FBC, another church, or are just getting to know us.
Is there a cost?
Adventure Club is free.
Do I need to register my child?
Yes, registration helps us prepare well and keep children safe. Parents can register online or at the church at the beginning of the season.
How do drop off and pick up work?
Parents will check children in at the Children's Welcome Station on the Children's Floor when they arrive. Child and parent will be issued a security badge which the parent will present when picking up the child at the end of the evening.
Who will be caring for my child?
Children are cared for by trained FBC volunteers who love kids and are committed to helping them learn God's Word in a safe and welcoming environment.
What if my child has allergies or medical needs?
When checking your child in for the evening, please provide the necessary information about your child's allergies, medical needs, or any other important information. We ask also that you inform the checkin attendant of your child's needs so that we can care for your child wisely.
What should my child bring?
Children may bring a Bible if they have one, but it is not required and their Adventure Club workbook (which we will provide). We will provide everything needed for the evening.
Can my child come after the year has started?
Absolutely. Children are welcome to join throughout the year.
Can my child bring a friend?
Certainly! All children are welcome to come to Adventure Club.
