Last Wednesday our chicks moved to a bigger pen complete with roost and hanging feeder and watereer. And it also looks like they are ready for March Madness with that big screen TV!!  Their early favorite team seemed to be the Gamecocks from South Carolina though a few were pulling for the Blue Hens of Delaware. When asked if there were any Virginia Tech Hokie fans in the coop, even these chicks responded that they didn't know what a Hokie was!

JUST KIDDING!! (April Fools!) That TV look-alike is actually a heater to keep our friends warm in the bouncing spring temps. 

In the pic below you'll see the chicks enjoying (or squabbling over) pieces of scrambled eggs. Michele says, "I know it sounds wrong, but it's perfect nutrition for them."

I'm wondering if the chick on top of the heater is the same one that was atop the water dispenser a few weeks ago?
