Question: What happens when the chicks have graduated into their yard and the temperature takes a steep drop? 

Answer: The chicks go back to the nursery for a little while! 

But it's a little cramped!

But...the heater is still in good working order and our teenagers are really happy about that!

They are 7 weeks old today and here is what 7 week old chicks are up to:

• they are very close to being fully feathered
• they are ready for coop living (as temps outside allow)
• their pecking order is mostly established
• their personalities are in full swing
