Why This Conference?
We all pray...
…but sometimes our prayers feel small.
Life has a way of making us anxious, weary, uncertain, or discouraged.
The wonderful news of Scripture is that our confidence in prayer doesn't come from having perfect faith, it comes from knowing a great God.
Come spend a weekend discovering how a BIGGER view of God leads to BOLDER prayer, deeper trust, and renewed hope.
Our desire is simple.
We want women to leave this conference with a bigger view of God, and because of that, a greater confidence in prayer. Spend the weekend being encouraged and reminded that we pray to a God who is able to do far more than we could ever imagine.
Conference Schedule
Our weekend will move from beholding the greatness of God on Friday evening to growing in bold, Scripture-shaped prayer on Saturday. Along the way, we'll enjoy biblical teaching, worship, practical workshops, fellowship, and opportunities to pray together. (Schedule subject to minor adjustments).
Friday Evening
6:00 p.m. — Registration Opens

7:00 p.m. — Big God: Session One

Prayer Workshops
Workshop leaders will rotate between meeting spaces, so attendees can remain comfortably in the classroom. Each woman will be able to participate in all four workshops.
10:15 am - Individual Devotion: "Why Don't I Pray?"
10:45 am - Workshops 1 & 2: First Round
11:00 am - Workshops 1 & 2: Second Round
11:15 am - Small Group Prayer Practice
11:45 am - Coffee & Refreshments
12:00 am - Workshops 3 & 4: First Round
12:15 pm - Workshops 3 & 4: Second Round
Saturday Afternoon ~ Bold Prayers.
12:30 pm - Put it Into Practice
• A guided opportunity to apply what we have learned.
1:00 pm - Lunch & Fellowship
1:45 pm - Worship, Prayer & Scripture
2:00 pm - Prayer School Is in Session
•During this workshop for the entire group, we will use selected Scripture passages to develop meaningful, God-centered prayers together.
2:45 pm - Prayer for the Church
•A time of united prayer for the Church
3:15 pm - Closing Worship, Prayer & Scripture

Registration Cost: $20/person

What should I wear?
Comfortable, casual attire.
Do I have to attend both days?
No. We'd love for you to attend as much as you're able.
Is this only for women from First Baptist Church Wheeling?
Not at all! Women from any church, or no church at all, are warmly invited.
What age is this for?
Women from high school and beyond are welcome to join.
Is childcare available?
There will not be childcare available for this event.
What meals are included?
There will be beverages and refreshments on Friday evening. Breakfast, snacks, and lunch will be served on Saturday.
Do I need to bring anything?
You will find it useful to have a Bible for reference, and possibly a pen or pencil to write with. A conference workbook will be provided.
I've never been to a church conference before. Will I fit in?
Absolutely. Our desire is for every woman to feel welcomed, encouraged, and at home.
