Pressure exposes what we depend on.  Psalm 119:17–24 gives us prayers for pilgrims under pressure. The sermon’s strongest “truth meets real life” angle is the move from rehearsing wounds to rehearsing God’s promises. Everyone meditates on something; the question is whether we are dwelling on our wounds, fears, accusations, and disappointments, or letting God’s Word steady and redirect our hearts.
