At First Baptist Church Wheeling, we are a church family committed to loving God, loving people, and making disciples. We believe God’s Word is true, sufficient, and central to all of life, so our worship is shaped by Scripture, prayer, gospel-centered preaching, and joyful congregational singing.
Whether you are new to church, returning after a long time away, or looking for a church home, we would love to welcome you. Our desire is to be a place where people hear the good news of Jesus Christ, grow in faith, and learn to live as a family of believers who love and serve one another.

The Great Commandments
Matthew 22:37-40 - Jesus said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and Prophets."
The Great Commission
Matthew 28:19-20 - Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
