Block Party Accomplished!

Yesterday was the final day for our mission team to work near downtown Cincinnati, and work they did!
We had a great turn out for the block party. Mostly kids and many kids from the YMCA.
With much effort Luke got the generator started.
We had inflatables, snow cones, hot dogs and burgers, and we got to read to some of the kids from the Y before the block party.
Braeden got to share the gospel with some of the kids It was a very hot day but it went very well.
Grillin' but not chillin' on a very HOT day.
Snow cone station.

Natalie and Adrianna got to talk to some girls about getting involved in a church...
A generous family from our church gave money to meet a need in Cincinnati and the students added to it with money of their own. Our church family was able to encourage and support the ministry of the McKinney family by giving them $400. We are thankful for this opportunity to partner with this great family in downtown Cincinnati.
Each day of the trip, the students and their leaders returned to the host church to join other mission campers for worship. Last night's worship featured a familiar face on stage...

Way to bust a move T-Rav!
Please continue to pray for our team as they enjoy a day of relaxing and fun before heading home very late tonight.
Father,
Please bring these dear ones home to us safely. Help continue to knit them together in ministry even as they return. Cause them to remember the lessons they have learned, the people who are doing Your work, the lost souls who have yet to encounter You and experience Your love. Thank you for the week you have blessed our mission team with and thank you for the constant opportunity to serve You. Please help us to eagerly join You in whatever work you call us to next, as individuals, as a church family, and as a part of Your Church worldwide.
Amen
